**David Moyes has some interesting decisions to make when Everton face Manchester United tomorrow, but none more so than what he does with Jack Grealish.**
The winger returned to [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) on Deadline Day and is available for United’s visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Grealish knows Moyes, knows many of his team-mates and was a key player for Everton last season. The question is whether he is ready to start after a lengthy spell without regular football.
**Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford**
No surprises here. Pickford continues in goal.
**Defence: Ainsley Maitland-Niles, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite, Vitalii Mykolenko**
Right-back is the difficult one.
Moyes could retain Jake O’Brien, but we’re going for Deadline Day arrival Maitland-Niles to make his debut. His experience and versatility could appeal against United. Tarkowski and Branthwaite should continue in the centre, with Mykolenko on the left.
**Midfield: James Garner, Harrison Armstrong**
This is another area where Moyes has a genuine decision to make.
Hayden Hackney must be getting close to his first Everton start and could come in for either Garner or Armstrong. After being eased into the opening weeks of the season, tomorrow may be the point at which Moyes decides he is ready.
We’re just about siding with continuity and keeping Garner and Armstrong together, but this feels increasingly like a three-way fight for two places.
**Attacking midfield: Brennan Johnson, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tyrique George**
Iliman Ndiaye’s departure to City means Moyes has to find a new solution on the right, and Brennan Johnson looks the obvious candidate. Dewsbury-Hall should continue centrally, which leaves perhaps the biggest decision of all on the left.
Grealish is available following his Deadline Day return, and Moyes knows exactly what he can offer. But Tyrique George has already been involved this season and, with Grealish short of recent match action, there is a strong case for keeping faith with the youngster.
George didn’t have his best afternoon at Bournemouth, but dropping him for a player who has barely played this year would be a big call. We’re backing George to start, with Grealish potentially a very useful option from the bench.
**Pickford; Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Armstrong; Johnson, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Barry.**
There are now three areas where Moyes could easily go another way.
Jake O’Brien is a serious alternative to Maitland-Niles at right-back, Hayden Hackney must be getting very close to displacing either Garner or Armstrong, while Grealish versus George is perhaps the most intriguing call of the lot.
We’re siding with George, partly because of Grealish’s lack of football. But if Moyes decides his returning winger is ready to go from the start, few would be surprised
