Bradley Barcola made his Livepool debut against Ipswich after completing his move to Anfield earlier in the week, and it hasn't taken him long to claim a Premier League record

Bradley Barcola might only have around 30 minutes under his belt in a Liverpool shirt, but he already has his hands on a Premier League record.
The $167 million signing came off the bench for his debut against Ipswich on Friday, having finally completed his move to Anfield just before the transfer window closed after weeks of speculation.
Barcola was warmly greeted by the traveling Liverpool fans, who have already penned a song for the French international, and even in his brief cameo, there was evidence that those supporters will like what they’ll see from the World Cup star going forward.
It didn’t take the 24-year-old long to make his mark on the Premier League, even after receiving no playing time back at Paris Saint-Germain at the start of the season.
After his first appearance for Liverpool, Barcola has set the record for the fastest speed in the league this season, topping the list after being clocked at 35.9 km/h (22.3 mph, as per FotMob).
Barcola has overtaken Coventry’s Milan van Ewijk and Chelsea’s Pedro Neto, who have both recorded speeds of 35.3 km/h (21.9 mph), with Brentford’s Kristoffer Ajer and Bournemouth’s Rayan a little further back at 35.1 km/h (21.8 mph).
The former PSG star will now be eyeing up his first start as Liverpool opens its Champions League campaign against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Although he might have a tough task displacing the impressive Cody Gakpo and Victor Munoz, while Reds boss Andoni Iraola knows he can’t push him too hard yet.
“Bradley hadn’t played a single minute since the World Cup so we needed to be careful,” the Liverpool boss said after Friday’s 2-0 win.
“I think he is training well, in a good place, and I think that he has helped us.
“Probably, we haven’t found him in a couple of situations where I think he was going against the ‘keeper, but we haven’t really seen his movements.

“And also he has had a very good counter, very good passing side that I think Cody finished, but we didn’t score.
“But he was always a threat, you know? When he carries the ball, I think you can feel this threat.
“And I’m happy because I think 30 minutes is going to be good for his fitness, for his buildup, and we will continue because now we play a lot of games, so he will have a chance to play more.”
