Everton boss David Moyes could reportedly quit his job as manager due to a fallout with The Friedkin Group.
The Toffees have started the season well with four points from their opening two games in the Premier League, while they also progressed to the EFL Cup third round with a dominant win over Championship outfit Preston.
But their plans for the new season took a major hit as they failed to sign a striker in the transfer window, with a deal for Folarin Balogun collapsing after the deadline closed, while they couldn't agree on terms with former star Richarlison to return.
That was despite the board sanctioning exits for Iliman Ndiaye and Beto on deadline day, to Manchester City and Fiorentina respectively, and Moyes has now been left with Thierno Barry as the only senior striker at the club.
Now according to a report by Football Insider, sources from inside the Hill Dickinson Stadium have suggested that the Scot could resign from his role as boss due to a deteriorating relationship with the club hierarchy.
The 63-year-old's contract is currently due to expire at the end of the season, and it's reported that there have been no talks over a renewal so far, and there is no expectation of talks in the near future.

As a result, it's stated that Moyes could decide to walk before he is pushed, with the club's poor transfer strategy another biting point between the parties.
Moyes took over from Sean Dyche in January 2025 for his second spell in charge, having previously been in charge between 2002 and 2013, before he left to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Man Utd following his retirement.
He has also managed Preston, Real Sociedad, and Sunderland, while arguably his greatest success came at West Ham, where he led them to their first-ever European trophy by winning the Conference League in 2023.

Everton owner Dan Friedkin was the man who appointed Moyes as manager back in January 2025, but the American tends to leave the day-to-day running of the club to son-in-law, Rishi Majithia, who works alongside Angus Kinnear.
When asked during a recent press conference if he had met or spoken to Friedkin since his return to Merseyside 18 months ago, Moyes simply said "no", before revealing that he tends to speak to Kinnear as his main point of contact with the club hierarchy.
"I don't really get any direct conversations with them, but I do through Rishi, he is the one I would speak to."
