An anonymous university president from the Southeastern Conference issued a stern warning to the LSU football program and head coach Lane Kiffin. They cautioned, via On3 Sports, that pursuing and integrating former NFL players into their collegiate roster represents a “dangerous road” that may warrant sanctions from the commissioner.
The ongoing legal standoff between Baton Rouge and conference headquarters has drawn unprecedented national scrutiny as the fall opener approaches.
