Curtis Jones helped to inspire an Inter Milan comeback against Napoli in Serie A, with the ex-Liverpool midfielder making his mark after making a $41 million (£30 million) transfer

Curtis Jones' half-time introduction helped inspire an impressive Inter Milan comeback against Serie A title rivals Napoli, where the Nerazzurri turned around a 2-0 deficit.
Lautaro Martinez scored twice at the San Siro, with the second being a 90th-minute winner. Marcus Thuram had leveled the scores in between those goals after Napoli had netted twice in three minutes through Matteo Politano and then Rasmus Hojlund.
The second Napoli goal came when the Inter team assumed a loose ball was going out of play. However, it was kept in, and the former Manchester United striker Hojlund finished well into the corner.
Inter still managed to recover, however. Maintaining its 100 per cent record this season, it remains unbeaten at home in the league for almost a year.
Former Liverpool ace Jones, who departed in a deal worth $41 million (£30 million) during the summer transfer window, was thrown on at the interval in place of Petar Sukic. He had already made his debut off the bench against Cagliari last weekend.
Three minutes after going two goals down, Federico Dimarco teed up Martinez to halve the deficit for Inter.
Thuram hit the post and then did hit the back of the net before wild scenes were sparked late on, with Martinez scoring his second of the game and Inter's third from close range.

Jones impressed, completing 89 per cent of his passes and touching the ball 46 times. He helped turn the tide in the game for Cristian Chivu's side, even though he was on the field for the quick-fire Napoli double that put Inter in trouble in the first place.
John Stones was an unused sub, while Djed Spence is currently out injured. Last week, Jones and Stones made history with Inter fielding more than one English player at the same time for the first time.
"It feels amazing," Jones said when he was introduced as a new Inter player. "I’ve wanted to come to Inter for a while now, so I’m really excited.
"I’m a Liverpool lad, a Scouser, and I’ve spent my whole life there. But at this stage of my career, I wanted to take the next step, and I think this is the perfect club for me to do that.

"The biggest thing was the feeling I had last season when I played against Inter in the Champions League and experienced the passion their fans have for the team.
"Of course, you can also talk about the trophies, the club’s history and all the great players who have worn this shirt. But the fans were the decisive factor.
"I was out on the San Siro pitch and I could hear them singing and supporting the players throughout. Coming from Liverpool, I’ve always been used to that kind of love and support, that strong connection with the fans. I hope I can build that same special bond with the Inter supporters."
Liverpool.com says: Jones should thrive in Serie A. He has all the tools and will get more regular game time with Inter. He will reunite with his boyhood club at the San Siro in the Champions League in a few months.
