Tyreek Hill's Post-Retirement Plan Overshadows His Possible Reunion Tease With Chiefs 1
Tyreek Hill missed out a whole season because of his knee injury that he suffered last season. He has been recovering ever since and became an unrestricted free agent being released by Miami Dolphins.
As he looks for a new team, possibility of him returning to the Kansas City Chiefs became stronger but even that discussion is overshadowed after he talked about what he wants to do after retirement.
Tyreek Hill spills what he wants to do after retirement
Tyreek Hill suffered a severe, season-ending knee injury during Week 4 against the New York Jets last season which dislocated his knee and gave him multiple torn ligaments. With that type of injury, Tyreek Hill was supposed to recover in 9-12 months. He heads into the 11th month, showed signs of progress but yet to be fully ready.

Miami Dolphins faced a $51 million salary cap-hit and released Hill in February under new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, which is how Tyreek Hill became an unrestricted free agent opening doors for him to explore his new destination.
While there haven’t been much linking of any teams with Hill, he teased that he might be joining his former team the Kansas City Chiefs. Hill recorded 6,630 receiving yards, 56 touchdowns, three All-Pro honors, and a Super Bowl victory during his six seasons with Chiefs.
While that discussion hasn’t settled in yet, speaking on Kevin Hart’s LOL!, Hill talked about what he wants to do after he retires, and it involves coaching. “I want to be a high school football head coach. I want to drive trucks, man. I want to drive a big semi-truck, dog. I’m from the south, bro.” Hill said.
He might be an unrestricted free agent after missing a whole season, but no one expects him to retire just yet. But as he expressed his post-retirement plan, it concludes that no matter what he does, he cannot stay away from football.
Tyreek Hill teases Chiefs return
Tyreek Hill’s social media activity has consistently sparked speculation about a potential homecoming with the Kansas City Chiefs, and his recent posts pushed those rumors back into high gear. Hill recently posted a photo of himself in his old Kansas City Chiefs uniform to his Snapchat story that teased off his return. “Soon my dear friend,” he wrote.
The post went viral across Chiefs fan communities, coming shortly after Hill was seen signing Chiefs memorabilia at a fan event in Missouri. At the same time, Kansas City Chiefs restructured guard Trey Smith’s contract to free up approximately $12.5 million in salary cap space, giving the front office enough financial breathing room to potentially bring in a veteran option later in the season.
For now, his full recovery in order and no confirmation or reliable reports links him with any team. But most analysts and fans actually think that Chiefs is a suitable option for both parties considering his previous record with the Chiefs.
