Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham all strengthened their ranks over the summer, but a different club has been given the honour of overseeing the best transfer window in the Premier League. United completed a midfield rebuild with the signings of Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba, while goalkeeper Karl Darlow also joined on a free transfer.
Tottenham spent around £314million on no less than 10 new signings, including the likes of Sandro Tonali, Savio and Mateus Fernandes. Chelsea managed to splash even more, shelling out an eye-watering £388m on 11 players. Morgan Rogers was their most expensive recruit, moving to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa in a blockbuster £118.5m deal.

Manchester City are the side in question, with 42 per cent of respondents to our latest poll agreeing that they had the best window of any Premier League club.
They splashed more cash than anybody else in the division, with an incredible £452m being spent on marquee signings like Enzo Fernandez, Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Iliman Ndiaye.
A rebuild was needed following Pep Guardiola's exit at the end of last season, with Enzo Maresca moulding the squad to his own requirements.
The former Chelsea boss will now be under huge pressure to deliver at the Etihad Stadium, given the almost unbelievable amount of money spent over the summer.

Another 15 per cent of voters said that Chelsea had the best window, while United and Arsenal received 12 per cent and 11 per cent of the vote respectively.
The total spending in the Premier League was around £3.5billion, the highest in history and significantly more than any other division in the world.
Only six clubs spent less than £100m on new signings: Everton (£88m), Fulham (£88m), Leeds United (£85m), Crystal Palace (73m), Bournemouth (£69m) and Sunderland (£66m).
The newest clubs in the league splashed out, too, with Ipswich Town's outlay of £171m marking the biggest total spend of any promoted side in Premier League history.
