Arsenal take on Chelsea in the biggest game of the new season so far. A London derby with plenty of history and a chance for both sides to make a statement at this early stage of the campaign.
Mikel Arteta faces an old friend in Xabi Alonso with a Spanish face-off which sees two of the youngest but most successful coaches in world football collide. For Arsenal, they will be confident to keep an unbeaten run against Chelsea which stretches back to August 2021.
Plenty has changed since then and now the Gunners are champions, whereas the Blues are a long way off scaling the Premier League summit again. It will still be an incredibly difficult challenge for Arsenal and Arteta will have to get his team news spot on.

David Raya
The Spaniard is looking to claim a third straight clean sheet in a row, his last against the Blues coming in March 2025.

Declan Rice
The number six role appears to be the home for Rice this season and that will continue against Chelsea.
Myles Lewis-Skelly
Bruno Guimaraes suffered yet another knock in his second game, meaning the brilliant Lewis-Skelly will maintain his central midfield role.
Martin Odegaard
The club captain has been a standout through the summer, and delivering in big games is definitely a box that needs ticking this season for him.
