Manchester United will be eyeing back-to-back Premier League wins when they face Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon.
The Red Devils started the campaign with a frustrating 2-0 loss to Hull City on the road, but made amends with a 5-2 thumping of Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
They now face a tricky challenge against the Toffees on Merseyside. Ahead of the game, manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that midfielder Mason Mount looks in good shape.
The Englishman has not made the matchday squad since the pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain due to injury, but could at least make the bench against the Toffees today.

Formation: 4-2-3-1
Senne Lammens had a fine opening half against Ipswich at Old Trafford. The Tractor Boys could have easily been 3-0 up, but the Belgian came up with a couple of quality saves. He will be eyeing his first clean sheet of the campaign against the Toffees.
The defence is likely to remain unchanged. Harry Maguire had a disappointing first half last weekend but stepped up after the break and contributed towards the win by inducing an own goal. Left-back Luke Shaw was given a tough time by Abdul Fatawu.
The Englishman personally acknowledged that he was not at his best and needs to step up today. Lisandro Martinez is expected to partner Maguire in central defence, with Diogo Dalot continuing at right-back.
There appears to be no reason to change things in the heart of the midfield. Kobbie Mainoo ran the show against Ipswich with his distribution and control. Shaw described him as ‘world-class‘ after the game. He is expected to partner Youri Tielemans.
Similarly, no changes are likely in the final third. Bruno Fernandes has been in the form of his life and scored a stellar hat-trick alongside an assist against Ipswich. The captain should start in the number 10 role with Bryan Mbeumo and Marcus Rashford out wide. Matheus Cunha is poised to lead the line.
Rashford was the only player without a direct goal contribution among the front four, but he was unlucky after Mbeumo squandered a clear-cut scoring chance. He has a fine recent record against the Toffees, scoring four goals in his last three meetings.
Benjamin Sesko has come off the bench in the last two matches and it could be a similar case against Everton. Carrick said the Slovenian is improving his fitness after a lengthy injury lay-off, which suggests he could make another cameo appearance.
