'My guy' - Bruno Guimaraes reacts as Newcastle United star issues message after five months out

Tino Livramento made his long-awaited return from injury in Newcastle United’s 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth.

It was Livramento’s first appearance for the Magpies since April 18, when he also faced the Cherries. He limped off in the closing stages of that game with a groin injury, ruling him out for the final five matches of last season.

The 23-year-old then recovered in time to be included in England’s World Cup squad, only for disaster to strike on the eve of the tournament after being forced to leave the camp with a calf injury that ultimately required surgery.

As a result, Livramento missed the entirety of pre-season and United’s opening three matches of the new campaign before returning to the matchday squad against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Livramento was brought on off the bench for the six minutes of stoppage time, marking his first appearance for Newcastle in almost five months.

Taking to Instagram after making his comeback, Livramento wrote: “Been a minute. Good to be back out there 🖤🤍”

Bruno Guimaraes responds to Tino Livramento post

Responding to the post were several of Livramento’s current - and now former - teammates, including Bruno Guimaraes, who commented: “My guy!! Very happy for you”,

The Brazilian continues to interact with his former Newcastle teammates publicly on social, despite leaving for Arsenal in the summer, having recently praised Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman for their performance in the opening day draw at home to Liverpool.
