Curtis Jones has settled in quickly at Inter Milan, with the former Liverpool midfielder playing a big role in his new side's latest victory after a thrilling comeback against Napoli

Curtis Jones has revealed he “feels at home” at Inter Milan as the former Liverpool star has lifted the lid on what drew him to the Italian club.
Jones left his boyhood club during the summer as he went looking for more regular playing time, with his search leading him to Inter. After a long saga which saw two bid turned down by the Reds, the midfielder eventually got his move when a $41 million (£30M) deal was agreed.
The move brought his 16-year association with Liverpool to an end, having come through the academy at Anfield, but he already seems to be making himself at home at the San Siro after making his debut last weekend.
His latest outing saw him come off the bench on Saturday to help inspire Inter to a comeback 3-2 victory over Napoli, having been 2-0 down.
Speaking during a press conference after the game, Jones told reporters: "I just feel at home with the lads. Since the first day, they've been unbelievable and so I can just be myself.
“Of course I've got a point to prove but I know that if I'm just myself, the lads will like me, the staff and the fans as well.”

Opening up on his relationship with Inter boss Cristian Chivu and why he made the move to Italy, Jones added: "There’s a reason I came here: the phone calls we had, how the team plays, his tactical ideas, and how he works every single day.
"It’s the small things he says, things that might seem minor but end up having a massive impact. Plus, he has immense experience and played at the highest level himself. He’s managed the squad brilliantly. He’s ‘one of us,’ and to me, that’s fundamental."
Jones will meet his former side again soon though, with Inter having been drawn at home to Liverpool during the league phase of this season’s Champions League. The two sides will meet at the San Siro on January 19 during the penultimate round of fixtures in the opening stage of the competition.

Having made the switch from the Premier League to Serie A, Jones has defended his new league against its detractors after his new side’s thrilling comeback.
"Some people say Serie A is boring and the Premier League isn't, but you didn't see that today," Jones said.
"There are great coaches here and so much tactics. Today was a beautiful match with plenty of chances, and the coach made several tactical adjustments that helped us win. Italian teams never surrender, it was a real spectacle."
