Jayden Adetiba opened the scoring with a penalty in the 3-0 win at Birmingham City.
Ipswich Town U18s continued their impressive start to the 2026/27 season as they beat Birmingham City 3-0 at their Knighthead Performance Centre yesterday afternoon.
The young Blues, who are under new lead coach Mark Robinson and assistant Jimmy Smith, went ahead just before the half-time break when they were awarded a penalty.

Winger Chris Atherton, who signed for Town from Chelsea this summer, was fouled in the box by Henry Pearsall and Jayden Adetiba converted the spot kick into the corner of the net.
Atherton hit the bar from a free-kick soon after the restart, before forward Roman Burton-Yurevich headed home Adetiba’s cross to make it 2-0 in the 52nd minute.
Just after the hour mark, Callum Stewart scored his third goal in three games to seal the victory for the young Blues, who have now won three of their first four league games this season.

They now sit in fourth in the U18 Premier League South and return to action when they host Southampton next Saturday at Playford Road.
In other news, the U18s will play at Walsham le Willows in the first round of the Suffolk Premier Cup on October 13th (KO 7.45pm).
Needham Market are the current holders after beating Felixstowe & Walton United 3-0 in last season's final.
