Chelsea have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma on a free transfer after missing out on Lamine Camara.
The Blues thought they'd signed the Senegal international as a replacement for the outgoing Enzo Fernandez, only for the Ligue 1 club to pull the plug on the transfer at the 11th hour.
The Sun claims Xabi Alonso's side have been informed Bissouma would be open to a move to Stamford Bridge after leaving Tottenham earlier this summer.
The midfielder is a free agent after his contract expired with Spurs, and the report claims he would have been open to a one-year deal with the Blues holding an option of a further season.
However, Bissouma's stint with Spurs was marred by inconsistency after arriving at the club from Brighton in 2022 in a deal worth £30m.
AS Monaco and Ajax are reportedly interested in signing the former Spurs midfielder, with Chelsea's stance unclear.
