A stunning strike from Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the 96th minute salvaged a dramatic draw for Everton and denied Manchester United back-to-back victories in the Premier League. Two moments of brilliance from Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko had the Red Devils on course to claim all three points, but the former Arsenal defender found the top corner with seconds to spare on his Everton debut to break United hearts.
The hosts were the better side for large parts of the contest and gave themselves a chance when Tyrique George equalised after Mbeumo's brilliant individual goal. The match was heading towards a draw until Sesko headed home from the middle of the box, which looked like it would secure victory for the visitors. However, there was time for one final twist as Maitland-Niles crushed United's hopes of taking maximum points with a screamer in the dying seconds.

A bit hesitant to come out for crosses at times and should have saved George's leveller, having got a hand to it at his near post. Couldn't have done anything about the winner, which was right in the top corner.
Didn't start the game well and was lucky to avoid an early booking. A little sloppy both in and out of possession throughout. Booked.
Was left bloodied within two minutes after a nasty clash of heads, but valiantly carried on. Outjumped by Barry for Everton's best chance of the first half.
Had a solid game, going under the radar for most of it but putting in a defensive shift. Neat and tidy on the ball as well.
Created the second goal with a delightful cross that sat up perfectly for Sesko. Linked up nicely with Marcus Rashford on the left flank and defended very well, too.
Worked well with Tielemans to help United win the midfield battle and got the assist for Mbeumo's goal. A solid display in the engine room.
Kept things ticking in the middle of the park and managed to build several attacks with progressive passes into the final third.

Rattled the bar with a thunderous volley in the opening exchanges. Saw plenty of the ball but wasn't able to carve out many clear-cut opportunities.
Lacked end product in the first half but more than made up for it with an outstanding goal, weaving through several defenders before finding the bottom corner.
Had a good game and caused problems for Everton cutting in from the left side and making things happen. Arguably the best player on the pitch in the first half.
Missed a huge chance to open the scoring before the break, firing over the bar from close range. Should have done much better after some great work from Rashford.

Introduced for the final 20 minutes and did his job well enough, but didn't exactly stand out.
Was tasked with scoring a late goal and did exactly that, although it didn't prove to be the winner in the end.
