Jack Grealish has confessed that David Moyes will probably see him as "a nightmare" after his second return to Everton on loan.
The playmaker spent last season at the Toffees and had proved influential in the final third until injury curtailed his season. The Manchester City star headed back to the Etihad in the summer, but it quickly became apparent that he was set for a peripheral role.
Grealish had been gradually cast aside by Pep Guardiola, who once spent £100million to sign him, and even after the Catalan left City and Enzo Maresca was hired the 30-year-old was set to remain on the outer.
Everton returned to land him for a second time ahead of his contract expiring next summer and it will leave Moyes again looking to get the most from Grealish. The England international admits the pair have a great relationship - and that helps get the best out of him.
Speaking to Sky Sports he said on the Everton boss: "I get on really well with him. He’d probably tell you, sometimes he’d probably say: ‘Jack’s a nightmare,’ but we have this really good connection.
"And like I was saying to you off camera, when I get on really well with a manager, it makes you want to do more for them. It makes you want to give everything for them, play well and succeed for them. And that’s what I want to do. I know a lot of the players are like that with him here.
"When I look back to managers that I’ve played my best football under, I always had a special connection with them as well. Three of my managers, Tim Sherwood, Steve Bruce and Dean Smith, I always speak to all of them now on text. I played such good football under all of them and I feel like that with the manager here as well."

Last season Grealish scored twice for Everton and was of interest to several clubs, including former side Aston Villa and Sunderland, before opting for a return to Merseyside.
Moyes and the Toffees endured a hectic end to their summer - winger Iliman Ndiaye made a £65m switch to City but Everton failed to add the striker they'd be eyeing despite being close to a £40m deal for Monaco and USA forward Folarin Balogun. They also failed with a bid to re-sign Brazil striker Richarlison from Tottenham.
Grealish came off the bench and had an impact as Everton came from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester United on Sunday.
