With the Georgia football program having national title hopes in the 2026 season, the team is looking for any breakout stars to help the chances of the roster reaching its full potential. As many are all in on the Georgia football team, the reason for some offensive success could be credited to this tight end that this reporter believes will be the next top star.

Matt Zenitz at CBS Sports would take to social media to claim that he believes that Bulldogs tight end Jalen Reddell is “poised to break out big time” in 2026. The junior pass-catcher has “generated a ton of behind the scenes buzz” in the summer and is “positioned” to be a top NFL Draft prospect in 2027.

“A tight end poised to break out big time this season: Georgia junior [Jaden] Reddell,” Zenitz wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “After only three catches his first two years at UGA, generated a ton of behind the scenes buzz this offseason and is positioned to emerge as a 2027 NFL draft prospect.”

Subsequently, in the opening-game blowout against Tennessee State on Saturday afternoon, 63-3, Reddell would record two catches for 38 yards and a touchdown. The last top tight end prospect to come out of the University of Georgia was Brock Bowers in the 2024 NFL Draft, as he's now considered a top player at his position with the Las Vegas Raiders.

At any rate, it remains to be seen if Reddell could reach that level and where in the 2027 NFL Draft he'll rank, but he can use the current season to raise his stock as Week 2 is on Saturday, Sept. 13, against Western Kentucky.
