A former Celtic striker has reportedly left Liverpool.
Mark Burchill, who was Liverpool's chief scout, has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, according to The Athletic.
Burchill was appointed to the role at Liverpool in March 2024 after working with former sporting director Richard Hughes at Bournemouth.
He was part of the recruitment team overhaul led by Hughes, who left Liverpool on Saturday to join Al Hilal.
Hughes' departure followed the conclusion of the summer transfer window, ending his two-and-a-half-year stint at Anfield. He said: "It has been a source of great pride to have been given the opportunity to serve this incredible and unique institution.

Burchill's exit is another significant shift in Liverpool's recruitment structure. Craig McKee, head of scouting operations, has also left for Al Hilal.
Hughes was instrumental in the appointment of Arne Slot as Jurgen Klopp's successor, who led Liverpool to the 2024-25 Premier League title.
During his time at Anfield, Liverpool spent approximately £700 million on new signings, including Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez.
