A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in his back Sunday evening in Logan Square.

A man was fatally shot Sunday evening near Kosciuszko Park in the Logan Square neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Officers found the 26-year-old man unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound to his back around 8 p.m. in the 2700 block North Harding Avenue, police said in a statement. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and pronounced dead, police said.

No one has been arrested, police said.
