Curtis Jones spent 16 years at Liverpool, joining the academy at the age of nine and rising through the ranks to become a first-team regular under Jürgen Klopp and then Arne Slot.
Over 228 appearances, he scored 22 goals and won six major trophies, including two Premier League titles, two Carabao Cups, the FA Cup and the Club World Cup, as well as finishing as a Champions League runner-up in 2022.

That chapter closed this summer when Jones completed a move to Inter Milan in a deal reported to be worth around £30m.
He signed a five-year contract with the Serie A champions, joining fellow Englishmen John Stones and Djed Spence in Cristian Chivu’s squad.
Since arriving in Italy, Jones has been settling into life at San Siro. He made his Serie A debut off the bench in a 1-0 win over Cagliari, and it did not take long before he found himself involved in a much bigger occasion.
That occasion came on Saturday, when Jones made his second Serie A appearance for Inter and this time, he had a telling impact on the outcome.
Inter faced Napoli at San Siro in a match that swung dramatically after the break.
Napoli took control through goals from Matteo Politano in the 50th minute and Rasmus Hojlund three minutes later, putting the visitors 2-0 up.
Jones was introduced at half-time, replacing Petar Sucic, and helped shift the momentum as Inter mounted their response.
Lautaro Martinez pulled one back in the 56th minute, Marcus Thuram equalised in the 82nd, and Martinez struck again in stoppage time to complete a 3-2 comeback win and keep Inter unbeaten this season.
Speaking to DAZN after the match, Curtis Jones addressed his decision to join Inter and the influence Chivu had on that choice.
“I don’t want to reveal too much,” he said, quoted by FCInterNews.
“There’s a reason I’m here: the calls we made, how the team plays, his ideas, and how he works every single day. Little things he says, which may seem small but have a huge impact. Plus, he’s experienced and has played too.”
Jones also spoke about his early integration into the squad, telling reporters he already felt at home among his new teammates.
He pushed back on suggestions that Serie A lacks the intensity of the Premier League, pointing to the quality of coaching and the fighting spirit shown by both sides during the Napoli match.
Jones will now be looking to build on his impact from the bench as he continues pushing for a regular starting role under Chivu.
