Gordon & Yamal on the wings: Predicted 4-3-3 Barcelona lineup vs Feyenoord| UCL

Barcelona will be looking to kick off their 2026/27 UEFA Champions League campaign in style when they welcome Feyenoord to Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

The Catalan giants have been in sensational form since the start of the season, winning all four league games, scoring 17 goals and conceding just twice. Hansi Flick’s side retained their top spot in the table by thrashing Valencia 5-0 away at the weekend.

Barcelona now turn their focus to the Champions League where they are first up against Feyenoord, who head to Spain off the back of a 3-1 win over NEC in the Eredivisie.

Barcelona Team News

Jesse Bisiwu trained with the first team on Monday and could be available for the Feyenoord match. Hansi Flick was also able to work with Eric Garcia, who suffered a nose injury on Sunday and trained wearing a protective mask. However, he will miss the European fixture due to suspension.

Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong (knee) and Roony Bardghji (knee) remain sidelined for Barcelona.

Goalkeeper

Joan Garcia kept a clean sheet against Valencia on Saturday. He will look to bag another shutout in midweek when Feyenoord visit Camp Nou.

Defence

With Eric Garcia suspended, Jules Kounde is certain to walk into the Barcelona lineup and start at right-back. On the opposite side, Flick could go with the experienced Joao Cancelo ahead of the exciting Xavi Espart, who played the full 90 minutes in the win over Valencia.

Pau Cubarsi should retain his spot in the Barcelona lineup, but the Spaniard’s partner in central defence might change. Gerard Martin is expected to drop to the bench with Andreas Christensen starting alongside Cubarsi to marshal the backline vs. Feyenoord.

Midfield

Rodri, a summer signing from Manchester City, made his first Barcelona start in the big win over Valencia. The 2026 World Cup winner’s experience, calming influence, reading of the game and technical ability make him an elite midfielder. He will keep his place at the base of the home side’s midfield.

Pedri and Dani Olmo should partner their compatriot in the middle of the park in the Barcelona lineup. They will dominate the ball, recycle possession and create openings for the attackers in the final third.

Fermin Lopez, who scored at the weekend, will be a potent option to bring off the bench.

Attack

There is no looking past Raphinha up top in the Barcelona lineup. The Brazilian is arguably Europe’s most in-form player, scoring in each of the first four La Liga games. He will be raring to add to his six-league-goals tally in midweek.

Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon will try to cause problems for Feyenoord from wide areas. With their directness, flair and dribbling ability, the duo can wreak havoc against the Dutch side.

Gabriel Jesus, Karim Adeyemi and Hamza Abdelkarim may get minutes in the second half.
