Liverpool made four new signings in the summer transfer window as Bradley Barcola’s late arrival from PSG grabbed most of the headlines.
The Reds, however, are still a bit short in a few areas of the pitch, so they still have a lot of work to do in the upcoming transfer windows.
Their right-back spot, in particular, is a bit of a problem as Conor Bradley is injured, while Jeremie Frimpong continues to blow hot and cold.
Ronald Araujo played in that position against Ipswich Town and fared quite well, which is good news for the Reds.
And Dom Szoboszlai has proved that he can also deputise at right-back, so Andoni Iraola has a few options.
However, Dani Carvajal is currently a free agent after leaving Real Madrid in the summer and has been offered to the Reds.
Liverpool offered chance to sign Dani Carvajal
TEAMtalk report that the Spaniard has been offered to Manchester City, Liverpool and Fulham, among others, as the Premier League sides weigh up a possible move for him.
An excerpt from their article reads: “Liverpool and Manchester City, meanwhile, have both been offered the chance to sign Carvajal as they assess their options for experienced defensive cover.
🚨👀 Dani Carvajal: “The decision has been made and it’s very clear: I will keep playing football next season”.

“Neither club has been identified as having made a firm commitment to a deal at this stage, but the fact that Carvajal has been offered to both demonstrates the level of interest in securing his services.
“There is also interest outside England, meaning Carvajal has a number of potential destinations available to him.”
Liverpool had the chance to sign a right-back in the summer but refused to do so as they want to wait for Bradley to return.
Never say never in football, but this doesn’t look like a deal that the Reds will actively pursue.
