Detroit Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is over the moon as his podcast will finally feature his own head coach, Dan Campbell.
St. Brown has been playing in the NFL since 2021, shining as one of the best receivers in the league. He's played a crucial role in helping the Lions garner headlines as one of the best teams, having reached the NFC Championship Game in 2023.
Campbell has been at the heart of that success since taking over in 2021. He's elevated the winning standard of the franchise, looking to get them back on track following a down year in 2025.
In the meantime, St. Brown is preparing a new season for his podcast. He has aired it for four seasons and counting, gearing up the fifth edition. And he found no better way to kick off the new season with a special guest, which ended up being Campbell.
“A podcast episode many have requested over the years. We decided to start out season 5 of the podcast with a bang. Dan Campbell. This Wednesday 🍿,” St. Brown wrote on the post, stating the episode with Campbell will air on Sept. 9.

What lies ahead for Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions this season
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Dan Campbell and the Lions have high expectations on themselves as an explosive squad in the NFL. They seek a return to prominence, making a case for a potential deep run in the playoffs should they clinch a spot.
St. Brown is on a roll as an elite receiver, having four consecutive seasons of 1,000 or more receiving yards. Last season saw him catch 117 passes for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Lions will attempt to improve upon their 9-8 record from the previous season. They also intend to return to the playoffs after a one-year absence, trying to return to serious contention.
Detroit's regular season will get underway at home. They host the New Orleans Saints as kickoff commences on Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. ET.
