Manchester United are aiming to bounce back in Europe after conceding a last-minute equaliser to draw 2-2 with Everton on Sunday. Ainsley Maitland-Niles scored from distance to deny United back-to-back wins, but attention must swiftly turn to their Champions League return against Sabah FK.
Marcus Rashford, despite coming off on Merseyside with a small injury, will be hoping to start once again and continue his comeback under Michael Carrick. Rashford, who featured in his second successive league match on Sunday, posted on Instagram following Everton's draw with United, sharing a statement with his 22.3 million followers.
"So unlucky not to come away with all the points today! The results will come. Big week coming up starting with Thursday's game," he wrote.
Notably, two of his former loan teammates from Barcelona were among those commenting: Roony Bardghji and Fermin Lopez. Bardghji wrote: "Man like Rashy" while Fermin simply posted a clapping hands and love-heart eyes emoji.

The pair clearly haven't forgotten the 28-year-old, who had been strongly linked with a permanent return to the Camp Nou following his stint there, and would in all likelihood have welcomed his comeback given their warm response. However, the forward has ultimately remained at Old Trafford to rebuild his United career under Carrick.

Patrick Dorgu, who came on as a substitute for Rashford against Everton, has drawn sharp criticism from former United defender Neville, who believes his wayward pressing was a key factor in the late equaliser being conceded.
On his Gary Neville Podcast, the Sky Sports pundit dissected the closing moments of the match that led to Maitland-Niles grabbing the equaliser.
He said: "That last goal is a really bad one. Dorgu, for some reason, chases out and presses – isolated press. Andrey Santos then doesn't go cover behind him and stays back.
"It just gets played past Dorgu. It's a massive mistake that. It's a massive mistake from Dorgu but he might have been told to go press by Santos. But it just strikes me as a lack of communication."
