Arsenal star Kai Havertz has announced that he is expecting his second child, just hours after beating former club Chelsea.
Havertz scored the equalising goal in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Xabi Alonso’s side at the Emirates Stadium. Martin Odegaard scored the second to win the game for the Gunners after Morgan Rogers' second-minute opener for the Blues.
Less than 24 hours after the win, Havertz and his wife, Sophia, announced that they are expecting their second child. Sharing pictures of the announcement, she wrote: "Our chaos crew is growing."
Among those to respond was Arsenal captain Odegaard, who replied with a heart eyes emoji. Former Arsenal and Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga posted a red heart emoji.

Havertz married Sophia in 2024, with the couple welcoming their first son, Romeo June, in March 2025. They are often seen at the Emirates Stadium showing their support.
Havertz and Arsenal are back in action on Wednesday night as they kick off their Champions League campaign. The Gunners travel to take on Napoli in the league stage of the tournament.
The German has previously lifted the trophy with Chelsea in 2021, before completing a move to Arsenal two years later. He will be hoping to help his current club go one better this season, after falling to defeat in the final against Paris Saint-Germain last season.
Following the game against Napoli, Arsenal are back in Premier League action as they travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland in Saturday’s late kick-off (8pm BST). They are then in Carabao Cup third round action away against Ipswich on Tuesday, 15 September (8pm BST).
Speaking after the win over Chelsea, Mikel Arteta hinted that there was some good news for Havertz. "He looks happy, he looks settled, he looks happy, his personal life, some great things have happened as well," Arteta said.
"He feels fit, he's training every day, he has this routine right now, and he's scoring goals, and not only that, but it's been an amazing work for the team."
