Liverpool are set to lose 16-year-old midfielder Isaac Konde to Manchester United after their rivals agreed a deal to sign the youngster. Reports suggest the teenager is heading to Old Trafford after United wrapped up the necessary formalities within the past 24 hours.
That's according to Fabrizio Romano, who states United have struck an agreement with the Reds. Konde has featured six times for Liverpool in the Under-18s Premier League, contributing one assist.
It marks the latest move from United to bolster their youth ranks, following a string of departures in recent weeks.
Premier League champions Arsenal announced the acquisitions of Habeeb Ogunneye and James Scanlon on permanent transfers during the recent summer window, while young striker Louie Bradbury also departed the club to join Stoke City on a permanent basis.

Liverpool have been making moves to strengthen their own youth teams in recent months. They signed Mor Talla Ndiaye during January from Senegalese outfit Amitie FC.
He's already been included in the Reds' senior squad on three occasions, featuring on the bench against Manchester United, Chelsea and Aston Villa towards the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Meanwhile, Ifeanyi Ndukwe has finalised his switch from Austria Wien earlier this summer, having been part of the Austria squad that reached the final of the Under-17s World Cup, though he is currently on loan with La Liga side Levante.
Liverpool have also agreed the signing of Colombian attacking midfielder Samuel Martinez, who will cost in the region of £750,000 when he turns 18 next April.

However, it'll be a blow to lose winger, Konde, with the Manchester Evening News covering United's interest earlier this year. The report said Michael Carrick's side were tracking striker Vincent Joseph and Konde.
Both players turned out for the club's Under-18s last season, but neither has put pen to paper on scholarship terms, although Konde was offered a deal.
Joseph made an immediate impression following his promotion to Simon Wiles' squad, netting just 10 minutes into his debut during a 4-3 loss to Sunderland in March.
He finished the campaign with three goals in only two matches for the U18s, having also bagged a brace against Nottingham Forest.
However, Arsenal have pipped United to the signing of Joseph and the two clubs were discussing a fee settlement last month.
