Mohamed Salah has needed little time to settle into his new surroundings after ending his nine-year love affair with Liverpool. After winning it all with the Reds, the Egyptian King left on a free in the summer before signing for Turkish side Trabzonspor on a two-year deal.
There was early disappointment as they lost in the Europa League play-off round, meaning Salah, unusually, will not feature in European football this season. However, Trabzonspor have shrugged off that disappointment by making a promising start to the Super Lig season, sitting fourth after four games.
Salah has played his part with goals, influential performances and even a spot of history. He has also been joined by one of his former Anfield team-mates. Here's a round-up of the 34-year-old's life in Turkey so far, including what he has said about his former club.

History made
Salah has hit the ground running, with four goals in as many league games.
As a second-half substitute in his opening match away to Kasimpasa, he had little time to make an impact. But after being added to the starting line-up, he has found the net in every league game since.

He hit a brace in the 2-1 win over Basaksehir before scoring his side's goal in the 2-1 loss at Amedspor. Salah helped Trabzonspor bounce back in their next match with a goal and an assist in the 5-0 win over Genclerbirligi.
It was a notable achievement as he became the first foreign player in a quarter of a century to score four goals in his first three starts for the club.
'Mixed feelings' over Reds
After such a long and storied history with the club, Salah has admitted he would find it hard to play against Liverpool.
A meeting between the two clubs isn't on the cards this season. However, with Salah in their ranks, they will hope to secure European football for next season, when a meeting with the Reds would be possible.
Addressing that prospect recently, Salah said: "I would feel mixed feelings [about playing Liverpool]. It's mixed feelings because I've been there nine years. I love the city, I love the fans and we always had a special relationship. It would be very tricky."

Reunion
Salah has recently been joined by a familiar face after Fabinho swapped the Saudi Pro League for the Turkish Super Lig.
Alongside Salah, the Brazilian won the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Club World Cup with the Reds. After signing for Trabzonspor last month, the Brazilian took to Instagram to post: "A new chapter on my life. Very excited for what's coming. Let's do it."
With Salah and Fabinho in their ranks, there are high hopes that Trabzonspor can challenge for honours this season and possibly even secure Champions League football.
