Liverpool announce lucrative sponsorship deal with nod to 2005 Champions League triumph

Why Liverpool NEED Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have secured a record-breaking five-year shirt sponsorship agreement with Turkish Airlines worth £300 million, set to commence on 1 June 2027.

The contract is valued at over £60 million per season, which the club believes represents the most lucrative front-of-shirt deal in Premier League history.

This agreement brings an end to Liverpool's 17-year front-of-shirt partnership with Standard Chartered, although the banking firm will continue as a global partner.

Turkish Airlines branding will feature prominently across the match shirts of the Liverpool men’s, women’s, and academy teams from the start of the 2027-28 season.

Executives from both organisations praised the new partnership, with Liverpool chief commercial officer Ben Latty referencing the club's historic 2005 European Cup victory in Istanbul.
