Liverpool has secured a new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Turkish Airlines worth around $405 million, making it one of the most lucrative agreements in Premier League history.
The five-year agreement marks the first change to Liverpool's principal partner in 17 years, with the deal understood to be worth more than $80 million (£60 million) per year. Turkish Airlines branding will appear on the front of the men's, women's and Academy match kits from the start of the 2027/28 season.
London-based Standard Chartered, which has been Liverpool's main shirt sponsor since 2010, will retain its relationship with the club by taking on a global partner role from next season.
Liverpool believes its agreement with Turkish Airlines is the most valuable front-of-shirt-only commercial deal in Premier League history. Arsenal and Manchester City's respective deals with Emirates and Etihad Airways, albeit worth more financially, also include stadium naming rights.
Arsenal's deal is worth around $95M (£70m) a year, while City's is worth even more. United meanwhile sealed a deal with Snapdragon worth just under $81M (£60m) per season.
Manchester United has also announced a new multi-million-dollar sleeve sponsorship deal with SumUp, understood to be worth more than the $27 million-a-season agreement they previously had with DXC Technology.
In February, Liverpool announced record revenues of more than $950 million (£700 million) for the most recent financial year, while they were the highest-placed Premier League club in the Deloitte Football Money League.
Negotiations with Turkish Airlines began before 1892 Holdings, a consortium led by Liverpool vice-chairman Amit Bhatia, acquired a stake of around 38% in the club last month.

Liverpool chief commercial officer Ben Latty said: "The front of the Liverpool shirt holds a special place in the history of our club. Turkish Airlines is a globally recognized organization with an extensive international network, and we look forward to beginning our partnership and building a strong relationship together, with already strong foundations built from those special memories back in 2005.
"This announcement also provides an opportunity to recognise the extraordinary contribution Standard Chartered has made to Liverpool FC over the past 17 years. They have been an important part of our journey through an exceptional period in the club's history, and we are delighted that Standard Chartered will remain part of the Liverpool FC family as a global partner from June 2027.
"As we prepare for this transition, we look forward to this new season and welcoming Turkish Airlines as our main club partner from June 2027."
Turkish Airlines chief executive Ahmet Olmustur said: "Liverpool Football Club is one of the world's most recognised and respected football clubs, with an exceptional heritage and a truly global community of supporters. We are very pleased that Turkish Airlines will become the Club’s Main Club Partner and that our name will take its place on one of the most iconic shirts in world sport.
“The agreement also marks an important new chapter in Turkish Airlines’ long-standing support for global sport. We believe in the unique power of sport to transcend borders and bring communities together. As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to moving forward together with Liverpool FC and its supporters around the world.”
