**Arsenal target Mylo Bernard has revealed that he is leaving Crystal Palace after eight years in their academy.**
The teenager [took to Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/Dc_gB5mjehR/) yesterday to confirm his departure for Selhurst Park:
“After 8 unforgettable years at Crystal Palace, I have decided to say goodbye. I have grown up playing for Crystal Palace and it has provided so many wonderful moments in blue and red. Crystal Palace has shaped me as a person and a player becoming a crucial part of my life.
“It has always been a pleasure playing at the club over the last few years and this part of my journey will always have a place with me. Thank you to all my coaches and teammates that have pushed me to become a better player and have helped me in my journey at the club.I will forever be grateful for the past 8 years I’ve had with this club.”

New academy director Pascal De Maesschalck has been busy bringing in new additions since his appointment at the start of August.
The likes of Blackburn’s Igor Tyjon and Manchester United pair Habeeb Ogunneye and James Scanlon have been added to David Horseman’s Under-21 setup recently, and Bernard could be the latest name joining the ranks.

Bernard is a centre-forward by trade, having impressed with his performances for Palace in the Under-18 Premier League and the FA Youth Cup.
The youngster has also turned heads with his displays at international level, having scored 4 goals in 8 games for England’s Under-16s. One of the most memorable moments of his career so far was the hat-trick he scored against the Netherlands in a friendly back in December last year.
