Leeds United managed to take a point on the road against Brighton in a game that fans believe they should have won. Daniel Farke and the players received heavy criticism on Saturday.
Farke’s substitutions early in the second half seemed to kill off any attacking advantage Leeds had after scoring the first goal.

Jayden Bogle and Noah Okafor were subbed for more defensive options in Brenden Aaronson and Jaka Bijol. Those substitutions killed the momentum in the game for the away side.
Brighton then managed to equalize and take a point.
But in that same game, Farke’s players were guilty of missing some clear chances. Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a one-on-one where he was through on goal, but had his effort blocked after rounding the goalkeeper.

After the game, the Leeds United boss said he was okay with taking the point, and that if his players had finished their chances, they could have won.
The Whites will now set their focus to the League Cup tie against Chelsea midweek.
Leeds are away to Stamford Bridge to face the Blues. Going into the game, Farke has spoken about how this Chelsea side will be a much different prospect than under Enzo Maresca or Liam Rosenior.
But he warned that his Leeds side will remain competitive as always.
”Different side, many new players. Xabi Alonso a different approach, I played against him twice and he did tremendous work at Leverkusen.”
”Promising start to the season. Home game, probably favourites but we were competitive in all last games.”
The Whites have managed to go unbeaten this season, taking points off Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Brentford.

Blues have a problem that Leeds can exploit
In every game this season under Xabi Alonso, Chelsea have looked vulnerable. Their only clean sheet this season has come from their League Cup win over Luton Town.
They have conceded seven goals in the other three games, which shows they can be hurt.
Leeds will have to find a cutting edge before Wednesday night. In the last two games against Brentford and Brighton, they got multiple chances but only scored two goals in two games.
Farke’s men will need to be clinical to exploit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Noah Okafor, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Harry Wilson will all need to step up on Wednesday.
