Liverpool are three games into the Andoni Iraola era and have two draws and a win to show for their efforts in the Premier League.
That isn’t a terrible return as the Reds have fared quite well in attack, while their midfield remains a work in progress.
Last weekend’s game against Ipswich Town was their best performance under the Spaniard as they kept a clean sheet and scored two goals away from home.
And Iraola feels Milos Kerkez was one of the Reds’ standout performers at Portman Road, although he has a lot of scope to improve his game.

“Milos played very well on Friday,” said Iraola in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Atletico Madrid.
“I know him very well and what he can achieve. He still has a big potential, being very young and with a good amount of experience in the Premier League and with the national team.
"I'm up for the challenge!"

“He needs to improve a lot of things like all the others; otherwise, there is no bigger step for him. I am ready to help him become a better player. He is in a good way.”
Iraola knows the young defender well and gave him his big break in the Premier League at Bournemouth.
The pair have reunited at Anfield and Iraola’s arrival is perfect for Kerkez to show everyone exactly what he’s capable of.
