Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow return to the practice field during an offseason workout at the practice fields outside of Paycor Stadium Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Burrow is recovering from wrist surgery after a season-ending injury he suffered in a Week 11.
Joe Burrow has always had the arm talent and weapons.
But he’s now driven in a way we haven’t seen before, says Kay Adams.
The host of “Up & Adams” came away from her interview with the superstar QB more than impressed.
“I think Joe Burrow wins MVP. He knows it’s go-time,” she said. “He’s measured that way. He’s dialed in. Sort of on another level. He always is, but there’s more balance to it. He talked to me about mind, body, and soul. He’s never talked like that to me before.”
She also pointed out that he looks better than he ever has. “Physicially, best shape of his career,” Adams said. “[It] jumps off the page in person.” And, she recalled, Burrow “geeked out” about the “under-the-radar shift to an under center offense” during their conversation.
Adams thinks 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns aren’t out of the realm of possibility for Burrow.

Injuries are, of course, always a concern with Burrow. We talked about that factor in our season preview.
