Arsenal have issued important safety advice to supporters travelling to Naples, including a recommendation not to wear club colours ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Napoli.
Mikel Arteta’s side begin their European campaign at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, with thousands of Arsenal supporters expected to make the trip to Italy.
The club’s official travelling supporter guidance includes several significant instructions surrounding safety, transport and stadium access.

Arsenal fans advised not to wear club colours in Naples
Arsenal have advised travelling supporters not to wear club colours and warned fans against congregating in large groups in public areas.
Supporters who visit Naples city centre while easily identifiable as Arsenal fans have also been told to remain vigilant.
The club has strongly urged anyone without a ticket not to travel to the match.

For supporters attending the game, Arsenal and local police recommend using the designated meeting point at Molo Angioino, Stazione Marittima.
A free police-escorted shuttle service will transport fans from there to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The advice goes further by recommending that Arsenal supporters do not use taxis or public transport to travel directly to the stadium.
Fans have been told to arrive at least 90 minutes before the 9pm local kick-off, with the shuttle journey potentially taking an hour depending on traffic.
Original photographic identification must also be carried.
Supporters will need both their ticket and passport to enter the away section at Gate 26, with photographs or photocopies of identification not accepted.
Arsenal have additionally warned that visiting supporters are likely to be held inside the stadium for at least an hour after the final whistle before being escorted back towards the meeting point.
