Manchester City have started their brand new era and 2026/27 season in perfect fashion under new manager Enzo Maresca, winning their opening three games of in the English top-flight.
Starting with a comeback victory over Bournemouth on the opening weekend thanks to goals from Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol, City then travelled to Selhurst Park to dispatch of Crystal Palace by a 1-4 scoreline.
Most recently, Frank Lampard's newly-promoted Coventry City outfit put up a strong fight at the Etihad Stadium but ultimately lost out to a singular Erling Haaland first-half goal in a narrow 1-0 defeat for the fellow Sky Blues.
That win marked the first contest for Manchester City following the summer transfer window deadline - a market in which director of football Hugo Viana oversaw widespread change in Maresca's playing squad.
Among the names to have exited included Bernardo Silva and John Stones upon the expiry of their respective contracts, while big-money sales were sanctioned for the likes of Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders, Savinho, and Nico Gonzalez.
Those sales enabled the club to make plenty of big-money signings of their own, with Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Allan Elias, Iliman Ndiaye, and Enzo Fernandez all joining Manchester City over the summer months.
Now, in light of those alterations, Manchester City have submitted their updated squad lists to the Premier League for the coming months, with a new submission expected after the conclusion of the 2027 January transfer window.
