The Commanders released their first (unofficial) depth chart of the regular season, heading to a clash with the Eagles
The Washington Commanders have released their first unofficial depth chart of the 2026 regular season. They released their intial (and unofficial) one before the first preseason game, but this is the first one released after the 53-man roster cut.
There aren’t many surprises on the document, with some clarity provided at the cornerback spot. Mike Sainristil and Amik Roberson are listed as first-teamers, with Rasul Douglas and Fabian Moreau behind them. There isn’t a slot cornerback position listed, so we’re unsure of who would play inside within the sub packages. Odds seem great that Roberton or Sainristil would move into the slot and Douglas would play on the outside.
The Commanders could also use safeties Tyler Owens or Quan Martin in that spot. Also confirming what we already knew, Frankie Luvu is a starting off-the-ball linebacker with rookie Sonny Styles with Leo Chenal in reserve.
The Commanders depth chart lists three receiver spots — they’ll play a ton with two and multiple tight ends — and Treylon Burks was considered the third starting receiver over Antonio Williams and Dyami Brown.
