GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers and Sargento are returning for the 24th season of Touchdowns for Hunger, a program uniting the two organizations in an effort to help feed families across Wisconsin.
As part of the program, Sargento will donate $2,000 toward hunger relief for every touchdown the Packers score during the regular season.
“As a family-owned company, giving back to our community is who we are and what we do as a Sargento Family,” said 3rd Generation Sargento Chairman and CEO Louie Gentine. “‘Touchdowns for Hunger’ allows us to raise awareness of food insecurity in the place we call home, while at the same time rooting for our home team. We’re proud to partner with two great non-profit organizations who are on the front lines of hunger in Wisconsin.”
Donations shared between two organizations

Each donation made by Sargento will be shared by Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee and Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay.
Last season, the Packers scored 48 touchdowns during the regular season and postseason, resulting in a total donation of $96,000.
Since the program began in 2003, the Packers have scored 1,252 touchdowns, and Sargento has donated funds toward hunger relief for each one.
To date, Touchdowns for Hunger has raised nearly $2.0 million to help defeat hunger in Wisconsin and has provided more than one million meals to help feed families in need.
