Tyler Herro's Ex-Girlfriend Seeks Legal Help To Keep Kids Safe Amid Child Support Lawsuit

Tyler Herro, who has recently moved to Milwaukee as part of a trade package to join the Bucks, has now found himself in a legal soup. The father of two kids, Herro has now split up with his baby mama, Katya Henry, and things already seem to be getting ugly.
According to TMZ, Herro and Henry are now locking horns in court over child custody and support following their split.
“The exes are duking it out in court over custody and support after their bitter breakup, TMZ has learned. TMZ obtained dueling lawsuits filed by Tyler and Katya,” their report stated.
“In his filing, Tyler asked the court to set up a parenting schedule and determine how much he should pay in child support. The Milwaukee Bucks star said he had been voluntarily paying his ex support since she gave birth. Tyler dismissed his case days later.”
“Katya filed her own petition claiming she had been in a romantic relationship with Tyler for nearly seven years. She claimed she had been the primary caregiver and made most of the decisions for the kids.”
“In her filing, Katya asked the court for primary custody. She said she wanted their kids to see Tyler, but due to his ‘historical conduct,’ which she ‘intentionally omitted’ out of respect for him, ‘safeguards and parameters should be implemented on a temporary and permanent basis in order to ensure the safety and well-being’ of the kids.'”
“Katya said there is a large disparity in income due to Tyler being a professional athlete, who earns a substantial sum of money,” TMZ concluded before stating the case remains ongoing.
Tyler Herro has two children with his former partner, Katya Elise Henry: Zya Elise Herro (daughter, born September 14, 2021), and Harlem Herro (son, born January 12, 2023).
Six years after publicly courting Katya Henry on X during the 2020 pandemic, Herro has ended the relationship. But Herro remains dutiful as a father and has voluntarily offered child support payments. But the main contention here seems to be custody.
Katya’s words suggest that, in her view, Herro likely did something that makes him a safety hazard to his children, and the court needs to intervene to ensure the kids are safe.

Henry and Herro likely no longer live together, as they have split and the 26-year-old star is heading to Milwaukee to play out his $33 million expiring contract.
With career earnings already crossing $100 million, Tyler Herro should ideally be the one shouldering the financial pressure of the children. But what raises an eyebrow is Katya Henry’s latest filing, which seeks the court’s intervention in the custody matter to ensure the kids’ safety.
One is bound to question what makes Henry believe Herro could threaten the safety of his own kids. Given how much Herro posts about his children on social media, there is no question he loves them more than anything.
But the case is apparently still ongoing, and more details could become public soon.
