Domantas Sabonis is reportedly looking to leave the Sacramento Kings.
Following his major agency shift, the Lithuanian big man is eyeing a new contract and commitment with another NBA team outside Sacramento.
"There's been some talk that Domantas Sabonis wants out of Sacramento himself, and that seems to be evident by the fact that he changed agents from Wasserman to CAA this summer," NBA insider Jake Fischer said on Bleacher Report.
"He's extension-eligible. … In today's NBA, in this second-apron era, if you're up for an extension, you don't want to get to free agency, you want to secure that next bag from your incumbent team, or you want to get traded to the next team that is willing to do that."

Domantas Sabonis officially left his former representation, Wasserman, back in July.
As such, he signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA Basketball) for full-service representation under agent Aaron Mintz.
Sabonis' decision to change his agency recently raised eyebrows among several NBA experts. Mintz is primarily responsible for helping Trae Young (Washington Wizards) and Walker Kessler (LA Lakers) land lucrative contracts with their new team.

Embracing a full-scale rebuild, the Sacramento Kings are unwilling to give Domantas Sabonis a contract extension, per recent reports.
Sabonis is signed to a five-year, $216.6 million contract with the Kings. He is currently extension-eligible, with two years and approximately $94 million remaining on his current deal through the 2027-28 season.
The star big man was subjected to multiple trade rumors this offseason, most prominently in the Kings' pursuit of Jalen Duren. However, Sabonis finds himself still staying put in Sacramento.
After he decided to switch agencies, only time will tell how the future will unfold for Sabonis' time in Sacramento ahead of an anticipated 2026-27 season.
