Rams get Puka Nacua injury update ahead of TNF against 49ers image
The Los Angeles Rams are in just as good of a spot as any team in the NFL to win a Super Bowl this season.
While the Rams seem to be the favorites, at least on paper, there are still some question marks about players' health and other factors.
One of those guys is Puka Nacua, who is returning from an injury. Nacua, not that he was seriously injured, has been held out of practice a couple of times over the past month or so.
However, when speaking to reporters about whether he's up to speed and how things look, Sean McVay had some very promising things to say about the young star wide receiver.
“Been hitting some high speed yards at a really good clip with Reggie [Scott] and his group,” McVay said, per Sarah Barshop. “And when we get back out there, it’ll be fun to have him.”
Ensuring that Nacua is healthy this season is at the top of the priority list for the Rams. He's coming off a season in which he posted 1,715 yards on 129 receptions, including 10 touchdowns. His receptions ranked first in the NFL, while his yards finished second. Losing a player like that would be a major problem for a Rams team built to win right now.
