Like some other teams in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers have to feel like their roster isn't set yet. Among the many options that the 49ers have to consider, adding players on the offensive side of the ball to help Brock Purdy is at the top of that list.
It remains unclear what the organization wants to do to add players who could come in and make a big-time impact.
Among the options out there, trading for a guy who is a buy-low target like Keon Coleman might not be the worst idea. While that name likely won't get many 49ers fans too excited, he's far from a bad player. One trade proposal from Bleacher Report would see the 49ers land him for a relatively cheap price, something that could be of interest to this front office.

“They brought back Deebo Samuel and sign Mike Evans, but they also lost Jauan Jennings in free agency and Ricky Pearsall to season-ending injured reserve (PCL). “The Niners will rely heavily on veteran wideouts and rookie De'Zhaun Stribling, and they could afford to add some extra depth to their receiver room. Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman, meanwhile, could use a fresh start,” Kristopher Knox of BR wrote.
I wouldn't hate giving up a fifth-round pick for Coleman, but I wouldn't give up anything more. If the Bills could throw in a late-round pick in a move like this, too, it would be even better. Not that Coleman is a bad player by any means, but he's really nothing special, so the 49ers will be taking somewhat of a risk just by trading for him.
