The Los Angeles Clippers are currently sorting out their front office situation after the NBA handed out punishments for salary cap circumvention in the Kawhi Leonard-Aspiration case.
Clippers' President of basketball operations, Lawrence Frank, was suspended without pay for six months and, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Los Angeles team will place their general manager Trent Redden as the interim president.
Redden has served as the Clippers GM since 2023, serving as assistant GM with the Cleveland Cavaliers before that, where he won the 2016 NBA title.

According to Fischer, the Leonard trade to the Toronto Raptors is on hold because the Clippers are still working through their new front office structure after the NBA suspended Steve Ballmer and Lawrence Frank.
The NBA formally announced its punishment against the Los Angeles Clippers and several other figures involved on September 2.
The Clippers have been stripped of five first-round picks from 2029 to 2033 by the NBA, while owner Steve Ballmer received a $30 million fine and a one-year suspension.
President of business operations Gillian Zucker was suspended without pay for one year, and President of basketball operations Lawrence Frank was suspended without pay for six months.
While Kawhi left the situation without losing much being handed a $700,000 fine only, his uncle, Dennis Robertson, gained a five-year ban from any league dealings and involvement.
