Arsenal have added a staggering 30 names to their Champions League B-List squad, as they look to face Napoli in Wednesday evening.

Mikel Arteta will be determined to go all the way in Europe this season, after coming agonisingly close to clinching the club their first-ever UCL title in May.

The Gunners held Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-1 draw after extra-time in the most recent final of the tournament, before suffering an agonising 4-3 loss on penalties.

Now, with a new campaign set to get underway on Wednesday evening, Arsenal will hope to give a stellar account of themselves at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in their curtain-raiser with Napoli.

The north London side have officially submitted their A and B-List teams for the Napoli clash, the latter giving U21 talents the opportunity to represent the first-team under the bright lights without taking up space on their 25-man squad.

According to the Arsenal website: "A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, January 1 2004, and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday, or for a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year.

"Players aged 16 may be submitted if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years. Clubs are entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season, but the list needs to be submitted no later than 00:00 CET the day before a match.
