Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Mylo Bernard from Crystal Palace, the academy’s seventh summer addition.
For now, the 16-year-old striker joins the club’s 2026/27 scholarship intake, although a pre-contract agreement means he will turn professional on his next birthday.
Bernard spent eight years on the books at Selhurst Park and was a regular scorer at academy level last season. Stepping up above his age group, he scored six times for Palace’s under-18s. He’s also represented England at under-16 level.
Incidentally, Arsenal’s under-18s host their Palace peers at London Colney this weekend, so Bernard could make his debut against his former teammates.
Elijah Upson, Igor Tyjon, Phoenix Blayney, James Scanlon, Axel Donczew and Habeeb Ogunneye are the other players to have joined the club since Pascal De Maesschalck took over from Per Mertesacker as Academy Director.
