Roku expands NFL Zone to Canada, Brazil, Mexico

Roku and the NFL have announced the international expansion of the NFL Zone, a centralised hub within the Roku Sports experience built for American football fans. Continuing its availability in the US ([where it launched in 2023](https://www.advanced-television.com/2023/09/13/roku-adds-nfl-zone/)) and now expanding to Canada, Mexico and Brazil, the NFL Zone brings fans a dedicated destination to discover live and upcoming games, the NFL Fast Channel highlights, clips, and other NFL content throughout the season.

The expansion builds on Roku’s growing sports presence internationally, following the launch of the Sports experience in Mexico in 2025 and earlier this year in Brazil and Canada. It also comes as engagement across Roku Sports experiences continues to grow, with streaming hours up 122 per cent year-over-year and unique visitors up 80 per cent in the US in Q2.

“With the NFL Zone, we’re bringing the League’s content together in one place,” commented Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku Media. “We’ve seen the success of the NFL Zone domestically, and we’re excited to bring that experience to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil this season.”

The expansion also brings the NFL Channel — the League’s free, ad-supported destination for 24/7 NFL programming — to viewers in the UK, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, giving international fans free access to the League’s round-the-clock content. In Canada, Mexico and Brazil, the NFL Zone will feature officially branded NFL clips and highlights alongside live and upcoming games.

US viewers can access the NFL App and the free, ad-supported NFL Channel through the Zone, providing more ways to follow the League and engage with additional NFL content. The NFL Channel offers a 24/7 stream of NFL programming, while the NFL app provides access to NFL+, the League’s streaming service featuring live local and primetime games on mobile, NFL Network, live game audio, and other on-demand content, plus game replays and NFL Redzone with an NFL+ Premium subscription.
