Former Liverpool wonderkid Ovie Ejaria has used LinkedIn to put out an appeal for his next club, as the midfielder looks to reboot his career once again.
The 28-year-old showed plenty of potential coming through the ranks with the Reds after he joined the club from Arsenal's academy in 2014. Ejaria went on to make eight appearances for Liverpool, featuring under Jurgen Klopp, with the Merseyside outfit sending him on loan to Sunderland, Rangers, and Reading, where there were some further signs that he could impress.
He eventually made a permanent switch to Reading in 2020, after two separate loan spells with the Royals, and while he provided plenty of threat on the ball, he couldn't quite kick on and make the most of his talent.
Over his three spells with the club, Ejaria made 127 appearances, scoring nine goals and assisting 13, before he left the EFL side in 2024 as a free agent.
The versatile midfielder spent almost 18 months without a team, but he returned to action last season with Real Oviedo in La Liga, hopeful that it would help kickstart his career.
However, with just eight appearances and no goal involvements for the Spanish side, he made an exit again this summer and is now looking for his next opportunity, and he took to the social network LinkedIn to advertise his availability to potential suitors.
He posted: "I’m currently a free agent and looking for the right opportunity.
"Was playing for Real Oviedo in La Liga last season. Primary Position- Central Midfield (6, 8 & 10). Secondary position - Left winger.

"28 years old, London-based. Played for Liverpool, Sunderland, Rangers, Reading & Real Oviedo. I’m keeping the details brief for now, but if there’s an opportunity or you know of a club looking for midfielder - (6, 8 & 10) or someone who can play as a left winger, please feel free to DM me."
It remains to be seen what could be next for Ejaria, following a difficult few years, with a clear belief that he can land an opportunity somewhere in the coming weeks.
The midfielder may have more chances to sign with a club now that the transfer window is closed, with teams now scrambling to find options on the free agent list to sign up.
Where that could be is unclear, with a possibility to return to England in the EFL, considering that he is London-based, but there may be a chance to feature abroad once again.
As Ejaria looks to rebuild his career, LinkedIn could be the secret to him landing a potential next opportunity.
