The Minnesota Vikings have signed outside linebacker Jihad Ward to the practice squad, marking his second stint with the Vikings and his 11th NFL season.
In the Vikings’ 2024 season when they went 14-3, the 32-year-old played in all 17 games where he made 10 total tackles, including one for loss, one sack, 14 quarterback hits, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.
Ward was drafted 44th overall from the University of Illinois in 2016 by the Oakland Raiders. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Tennessee Titans.
