In a rainy Nou Camp, Barcelona got off to the perfect start as Raphinha made it 1-0 after only three minutes.
Anis Hadj Moussa caused some danger and he was denied a penalty after going down in the Barcelona box. From the following counter attack, Karim Adeyemi made it 2-0 for the hosts.
Feyenoord began the second half brightly but again they couldn’t find the net and eventually Raphinha made it 3-0 after a simple through ball to the Brazilian.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side reacted immediately as Luciano Valente sent Targhalline through on goal and although he missed, Nacho Ferri put the ball in the net. However, due to a slight offside, the goal was ruled out.
Lamine Yamal scored a fourth for Barcelona before Feyenoord did get a consolation through Sem Steijn. Yamal then set up Gabriel Jesus to add a fifth before the end.
On October 14, Feyenoord’s next clash will be at home to Italian side Como.
