Chelsea reached the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a thrilling 6-3 win over Leeds United on Wednesday.
The Blues went 2-0 down at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Tarik Muharemovic and Brenden Aaronson, but the hosts roared back in the second half after Xabi Alonso introduced his stars that he had initially rested.
Cole Palmer struck a quickfire brace, one from the spot and another neatly into the far corner, before Pedro Neto completed the comeback on the hour.
Danny Welbeck added a fourth that was cancelled out by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Valentin Barco lashed home a fifth and his first for the club.
One final strike ricocheted off Welbeck for a bizarre sixth in second-half stoppage time as the west Londoners moved into round four.
More to follow.
