SEATTLE, Wash. (KPTV) - The Seattle Seahawks kicked off the 2026 season with a 13-10 win in a Super Bowl rematch against the New England Patriots on Wednesday night.
Despite Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s exit during the first drive due to a hip injury, Drew Lock and the Seattle offense responded with 13 points in the second half and took the lead with less than six minutes to go.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks defense picked off Patriots quarterback Drake Maye three times, including the interception in the end zone by cornerback Josh Jobe to seal the win.
Up next, the Seahawks head to Arizona for their first road game of the season against the Cardinals on Sept. 20.
