**Alisson has been fined for his reaction after Liverpool’s draw with Nottingham Forest.**
The Brazil international was involved in a contentious decision as [Andoni Iraola’s Premier League home bow ended in stalemate](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/67677-liverpool-2-2-nottingham-forest-three-talking-points-victor-munoz-florian-wirtz-jeremie-frimpong/) on August 29.
A foul by Alisson on ex-Reds full-back Neco Williams saw referee Sam Barrott award a penalty from which Morgan Gibbs-White put the visitors back ahead.
The top flight’s Key Match Incidents panel has since [acknowledged that the original decision should not have stood](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/68107-premier-league-admit-wrongful-liverpool-penalty-award/) despite not meeting a VAR threshold.
But Alisson was hit with an £8,000 penalty by the Football Association after accepting a misconduct charge related to his actions as he left the pitch.
Video footage emerged of the goalkeeper kicking out at the fourth official’s electronic board while heading towards the tunnel after the final whistle.
Iraola’s side were unable to make a triple substitution in the minutes leading up to Forest’s penalty due to a fault with the electronic board at that time.
“Liverpool’s Alisson Becker has been fined £8,000 for misconduct at the Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest on 29 August,” read an FA statement.
“It was alleged that the goalkeeper acted in an improper manner around the tunnel area after the final whistle.
“Alisson Becker subsequently accepted the charge against him and received the standard penalty.”
